How come the orange cite button is not showing up when I open an article?

I love this citation generator! I use it all the time for APA in my collage essays. NO Ads ever! It works significantly better than other ones I have found. It has been a game changer for me!

It doesn't work on most of the sites, especially on Research Gate. I was hopeful about it, but it is disappointing.

sometimes I get wrong citation and referances.

It is very easy to access and helps a lot with writing lengthy papers.

It's amazing, although I wish it worked in documents.

I would use the extension more if it gave me the option to pick and save from my list of work, it wont let me pick and save under the correct assignment lists i have- so annoying!!!

Saves time! quick and efficient

Worked like a charm for one piece of work, when I went to use it for a new one when pressing the extension it looked as if it would never load in the cite section, nor would it 'Add to list' from the extension. I don't know what has gone wrong but it is so frustrating as it is amazing when it does work!

I have to agree with some of the other reviews, this is unusable. I am on Chrome (fully updated) and closed out then re-opened Chrome after installing the extension, just to be sure, and still nothing. I have gotten a grand total of ONE reference to actually come up. On every other attempt, clicking the extension icon takes me to this webstore page. It is an amazing idea, and I love using Scribbr in general, but for this, sadly, it appears it is not ready for prime-time.

Great, quick tool, but needs to become more stable. Often when I need it, it's unreachable, making it unuseful.

It works wonders when it works. However the last few days it has been completely inaccessible. I have tried removing and re-installing the extension, and I am very sad that it is no longer working for me :( it was awesome when it worked, I would prefer to keep using it!

Doesn't activate at all on Edge. Only website that I could cite by clicking the extension button, is ... Scribbr itself? Very sad, because I really want this to work.

It has been a great tool for me for the past few weeks, but last week, it failed to load. I tried deleting the extension and downloading it again, but to no avail. I deleted the extension again. Today (12/18/2023), I tried downloading the extension again and it now works as it should be. Thank you for fixing this issue.

It is not good at all. waste money. I made a big mistake taking service from this. I am going to upgrade to Quillbot.

It used to work - but now doesn't show up on chrome extension. When I try and use it - it brings me to this page without any citations. I tried removing and reinstalling but to no avail. What happened? does it not work with all of the chrome updates? UPDATE - so the tool works in many cases but fails if the URL is a .pdf file. It seems to work on general pages but not if the link is a PDF in and of itself. Bummer because most sources are PDFs.
